Donating Used Books & Audiovisual Materials

Each year the Friends of the Carson Libraries receive thousands of donated books and media, some of which we add to the library collections. Other donations are sold to the public through a number of book sales – including our National Library Week Booksale each April. All profits benefit the Carson Regional and Victoria Park Libraries.

When you donate your books, magazines, videos, CDs, and records to us, you not only provide us a means to fundraise for additional materials and services for the libraries, but you also provide others with very low-cost access to reading materials, decrease the burden on our landfills, and yield a tax deduction for you as well. Don't wait. Make your donation today!

Donations may be taken to the Carson Regional Library during regular library hours. Be sure to ask for a gift receipt whenever you make a donation. Please note that we do not evaluate the books. You are responsible for estimating the value of your donations for tax purposes.
